Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, plus more to taste
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- dried basil, to taste
- dried oregano, to taste
- pasta, cooked, of your choice
- parsley, optional, fresh chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Put the milk, the cottage cheese, the cornstarch, the salt, the pepper, the garlic powder, and the parmesan in a blender or food processor.
Step 2 -Blend the mixture until smooth.
Step 3 -Pour the mixture into a small saucepan.
Step 4 -Add the basil and the oregano to the mixture.
Step 5 -Cook the mixture over medium-low heat until heated through and smooth.
Step 6 -Taste the sauce for seasoning.
Step 7 -Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Step 8 -Add the pasta to the sauce and let it soak, about 2 minutes.
Step 9 -Garnish with the parsley and serve.
