Al dente pasta joins forces with the veggie gang — zucchini, asparagus, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and snow peas — in a creamy parmesan sauce for a delectable pasta treat you won't soon forget. Creamy Pasta Primavera fills in all the gaps of the great, fresh taste you crave. Remember to always eat your veggies!

Ingredients
- 12 ounces medium pasta, such as bow tie
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 cup zucchini, sliced
- 1/2 cup asparagus, trimmed
- 1/2 cup red, yellow, or orange bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon chicken broth, divided
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup petite peas
- 1/2 cup snow peas
- 2/3 cup grape or cherry tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated, plus more, to taste, for garnish
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -In a pot of salted, boiling water, cook the pasta to al dente, according to the package directions. Drain and set it aside.
Step 2 -In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
Step 3 -Add the garlic to the melted butter and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Step 4 -Add the zucchini, the asparagus, and the bell peppers to the garlic mixture and cook, about 1 minute.
Step 5 -Add 1 cup of the chicken broth to the vegetable mixture and bring to a simmer. Cook until the vegetables are crisp-tender, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 6 -Add the heavy cream, the petite peas, the snow peas, and the tomatoes to the vegetable mixture and simmer, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 7 -In a small bowl, add the cornstarch and the remaining chicken broth and whisk to combine.
Step 8 -Add the slurry mixture to the vegetable mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
Step 9 -Add 1/2 cup of the parmesan cheese and the cooked pasta to the vegetable mixture and stir to combine.
Step 10 -Taste the pasta mixture and season with the salt and the black pepper, as needed, and stir to combine.
Step 11 -Serve the pasta sprinkled with the extra parmesan.
