Ah, good ole Philly. Known as The Birthplace of America and also for the fantastic invention of the Philly cheesesteak, there's a lot of fun facts and rich history to come from that place. If you feel like ringin' some of its delicious flavor into your own meal, here's the Sunny-In-Philadelphia Bake! You're sure to declare this pasta-based, cheesesteak-inspired, warm, and melty casserole as a national landmark. Okay, well maybe not that extreme, but it sure is good and celebrates some of the best tastes to come from one of the most transformative cities in the U.S. Three cheers to the Sunny-In-Philadelphia Bake! Here's to making all the Philadelphians proud!

Ingredients
- 1 (32-ounce) container beef stock
- 32 ounces water
- 1/2 pound small shell pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 1 pound ground beef
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella, shredded
- 6 slices provolone cheese
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -In a large pot, add the beef stock and the water and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and cook to al dente, according to the package directions.
Step 3 -Drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
Step 4 -In an oven-safe skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
Step 5 -Add the garlic to the melted butter and cook for 30 seconds.
Step 6 -Add the bell pepper and the onion to the garlic butter and cook until they are tender, about 5 minutes.
Step 7 -Add the ground beef, the salt, and the pepper to the veggie mixture and cook, while crumbling the beef, until the meat is no longer pink.
Step 8 -Drain the excess grease from the beef mixture and return the skillet to the heat.
Step 9 -Stir the cream cheese into the beef mixture until it has melted.
Step 10 -Stir the reserved pasta water, the cooked pasta, and the mozzarella into the beef mixture.
Step 11 -Top the pasta mixture with the slices of the provolone.
Step 12 -Bake the pasta mixture until the provolone has completely melted, about 20-25 minutes.
Step 13 -Serve.
