Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 (1-ounce) envelope taco seasoning
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 (16-ounce) can mild chili beans, undrained
- 1 (15.25-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 (15-ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
- 1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chiles, undrained
- 1 (1-ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix
- cilantro leaves, to taste, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat.
Step 2 -Add the beef to the Dutch oven and cook, while crumbling, until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 3 -Add the taco seasoning to the beef mixture and mix well.
Step 4 -Add the water, the chili beans, the corn, the pinto beans, the stewed tomatoes, the diced tomatoes with green chilies, the chopped green chiles, and the ranch dressing mix to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
Step 5 -Bring the beef mixture to a boil.
Step 6 -Reduce the heat and simmer the beef mixture, uncovered, while stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 15 minutes.
Step 7 -Garnish with the cilantro leaves and serve.
