Ingredients
- 3-4 chicken breasts
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup basil pesto
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved, for garnish
- 4-6 basil leaves, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a large baking dish.
Step 3 -Mix the cream cheese and basil pesto.
Step 4 -Lay the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
Step 5 -Evenly spread the pesto and cream cheese mixture over the top of the chicken.
Step 6 -Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Step 7 -Bake on the center rack until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F, about 30-45 minutes.
Step 8 -Serve topped with cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
